1969] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 261 BUDGET FOR 1 9 6 9 SUMMER QUARTER AND FACULTY APPOINTMENTS, CHICAGO CIRCLE (1) Submitted herewith are the budget and appointments to the faculty for the 1969 Summer Quarter at Chicago Circle from June 23 through September 6, 1969. The total budget is for salaries in the amount of $926,500. The salaries recommended are computed on the basis of one-third of the salary of the academic year for a full quarter of service, with proportionate amounts for shorter periods or for part-time service. I recommend that these appointments to the summer quarter staff at Chicago Circle be approved as submitted, and that the President of the University be authorized to accept resignations and make such changes and adjustments and additional appointments as are necessary in accordance with the needs of the University within the allocations of funds indicated. On motion of Mr. Williamson, these appointments and the summer quarter budget for 1969 for Chicago Circle were approved, and authority was given as requested; this action was taken by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, M r .
