belonging or in anywise pertaining unto that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated partly within the corporate limits of the town of Taylor, Williamson County, Texas, and described as follows, to-wit: Being about 56 acres of land out of the W. J. Baker Survey, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the southeast corner of a tract of 57 acres of land which was conveyed to Joseph Stasny by M. R. Kennedy, by deed dated January 1st, 1907, and recorded in Book 120, Page 122 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, said beginning corner being a stake in the south line of said W. J. Baker Survey, distant south 71 ° West 1336.9 varas from the original southeast corner of said survey, said stake being also the southwest corner of a tract of 151.88 acres of land conveyed by Curran Mendel and wife to George W . Burkitt, and also being the southeast corner of a tract of 136^3 acres of land conveyed by J. S. Hildreth, et al, to said Curran Mendel and wife, by deed dated July 30th, 1889, and recorded in volume 50, Page 80, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, T e x a s ; Thence North 190 West, with the east line of said 136?^ acre tract, 784.8 varas to the southeast corner of the tract heretofore sold to Mark J o n e s ; Thence south 71° West, with the south line of said Mark Jones Tract, 492 varas to the east line of the Charles H a g u e place; Thence south 19° west, with the east line of said Hague place, 552.98 varas to the northwest corner on the J. L. Woodward 10 acre tract; Thence north 71" east with the north line of said 10 acre tract, 225 varas to the northeast corner of same; Thence south 19° east with the east line of said 10 acre tract, 156.8 varas to a stake for corner; Thence north 71" east 54 varas to stake for corner; Thence south 19° east 97.2 varas to corner; Thence north 71° east 213 varas to the place of beginning, and containing 56 acres of land, more or less, and including that certain tract of one (1) acre out of the southeast corner of said above described tract of land conveyed by Jerome J. Stasny, et ux, to H . C. Ratcliff by deed dated January 8, 1931 and recorded in volume 263, page 430 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. To have and to hold the above released rights, titles, interests, claims and demands in and to said above described land unto the said Elizabeth Nelson, her heirs and assigns, forever. In testimony whereof, we have hereunto set our hands this the 18th day of January, A. D. 1944.
