Matters Presented by President Willard The Executive Committee considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. Closing of Roads in T o l o n o Township (1) At the request of representatives of the University of Illinois, the Supervisor and Commissioner of Highways of Tolono Township, Champaign County, have instituted the proceedings necessary under State law to close the public roads within the University of Illinois airport area. They have been giving the University every cooperation in this matter. The Commissioner of Highways has asked if the University will release the steel and concrete culverts in these highways to the Township when the roads are closed and construction begins, so that the Township can use these elsewhere. Since the culverts were purchased or built with public funds belonging to the Township, I recommend that they be released to the Township.
