OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CURRICULUM (13) T h e Board of Trustees (Executive Committee) at its meeting on July 28 (Minutes, page 446) considered a recommendation from the University Senate for the establishment of a curriculum in Occupational Therapy leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. This was referred to a special committee 1 with power to act. T h e committee met on August 7 and voted that: 1. T h e administration of the curriculum in Occupational Therapy shall be in the College of Medicine. 2. The curriculum shall be established beginning with the fall term in October. 3. The necessary funds shall be provided in the budget for 1943-1944 for this curriculum. In accordance with the action of the committee the administration of this curriculum has been placed in the College of Medicine, and the necessary funds have been provided in the budget for this purpose. Miss Beatrice D. Wade, of Winnetka, formerly Director of Occupational Therapy at Michigan State Normal College, has been appointed Associate Professor and Director of Occupational Therapy for two years from September 1, 1943, at an annual salary of $3,600.

RESIGNATION OF DR. ERNST GELLHORN (15) Dr. Ernst Gellhorn, Professor of Physiology, resigned effective September 1, 1943, to accept a professorship of neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota where he will be in charge of the neurophysiological work. His resignation has been accepted and I am reporting this for record. O n m o t i o n of D r .
