MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS May 24, 1943 Pursuant to the adjournment taken April 29, 1943, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois met at the University Club, in Chicago, at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 1943. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Nickell; Mr. Jensen took his place with the Board soon after the session opened. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Dr. Raymond B. Allen, Executive Dean of the Chicago Colleges, and Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. 353
