HOUSING A N D HOME FINANCE AGENCY LOAN FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ILLINI UNION ADDITION (12) T h e Vice-President and Comptroller has submitted an application to the Housing and Home Finance Agency for a loan of $2,750,000 for the construction of an addition to the Illini Union Building. This represents the maximum amount which the Housing and Home Finance Agency will lend on this type of project. The Director of the Physical Plant and Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that the action of the University in submitting this application to the Housing and Home Finance Agency be confirmed; that the firm of Chapman and Cutler of Chicago be employed as counsel for the bond issue; that bids for the construction of the project and advertisements for the sale of bonds be taken at the time or times deemed most appropriate by the Vice-President and Comptroller ; that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute a loan agreement with the Housing and H o m e Finance Agency; and that all other necessary steps in connection with the bond issue and the sale of bonds be authorized. HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY LOAN FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE GRADUATE STUDENTS RESIDENCE HALL (13) The Vice-President and Comptroller and the Director of the Physical Plant recommend that an application for a loan of $1,350,000 be submitted to the Housing and Home Finance Agency for the construction of a residence hall for approximately three hundred single graduate students; that the firm of Chapman and Cutler be employed as counsel for the bond issue; that bids for the construction of the project and advertisements for the sale of bonds be taken at the time or times deemed most appropriate by the Vice-President and Comptroller ; that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute a loan agreement with the Housing and H o m e Finance Agency; and that all other necessary steps in connection with the bond issue and the sale of bonds be authorized.
