They are stable to at least 450° C. and some to more than 500° C. The research project from which the invention results was supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation. The Committee has recommended that this invention be released to the University of Illinois Foundation for exploration of its commercial possibilities provided that due consideration is given to the rights of the sponsoring agency. I concur in this recommendation. Mr. Clement reported the Board's Committee on Patents also concurs in this recommendation, and on his motion, the same was approved. This concluded the executive session. RECESS FOR SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS At the hour of 10:00 a.m. the Board recessed to reconvene at 10:30 a.m. for a special order of business, the hearing of the case of Dr. Leo F . Koch, Assistant Professor of Biological Science. T h e actions of the Board relating to this hearing are recorded elsewhere in these minutes. During the hearing a recess was taken for luncheon following which, and prior to resumption of the hearing, the Board took up consideration of the following items of business relating to the issue of "The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois Housing Revenue Bonds of i960, Series A . " Action on these matters could not be taken during the forenoon session of the Board because bids on the bonds being issued were received in Chicago at 11 :oo a.m. today and were reported by telephone during the luncheon recess.

(34) The Vice-President and Comptroller presents the Third Supplemental Housing Revenue Bond Resolution, supplementing the Resolution approved December 17, 1958, and creating $5,000,000 Housing Revenue Bonds of i960, Series A, and recommends its adoption. He also recommends that the Board: Authorize the retention of the firm of Chapman and Cutler, Chicago, as counsel for the bond issue; Ratif3' and confirm the action of the Comptroller in advertising for the sale of bonds; Authorize the execution of the bonds by A. J. Janata, Secretary of the Board, by the facsimile signatures of the President of the Board, and by the facsimile signatures of Frances B. Watkins and Timothy W. Swain, members of the Board; Authorize the Comptroller and Treasurer to deliver the Series A Bonds of i960 to Blyth and Company, Inc., and White, Weld, and Company and Associates ; and Ratify and confirm all actions taken or to be taken by the officers and members of the Board in connection with the sale and delivery of the bonds. I concur. On motion of Mr. Swain, the foregoing recommendations were approved, and the T h i r d Supplemental Housing Revenue Bond Resolution, as printed below, was adopted by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Harewood, M r . Herrick, Mr. H u g h e s , Mr. Johnston, Mr. Pogue, M r . Swain, M r s . W a t k i n s , Mr. Wilkins, M r . Williamson; no, none; absent, M r . Stratton.
