BOARD OF TRUSTEES

acknowledge, and deliver, in the name and in behalf of, this Corporation, and under its Corporate Seal, a Warranty Deed and such other documents in connection therewith as said Comptroller and Secretary may deem necessary or desirable in order to convey to Purchaser title to the following described property, viz: Situated in the State of Illinois, the County of Champaign and the City of Champaign, and being a part of the N E % of the S E % of Section 13, Township 19 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and being also a part of Lot 1 of a subdivision of the South J-4 of said Section 13, as recorded in Plat Book A, Page 348, of the records of said County, and being more fully bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point 303.4 feet distant south and 150.0 feet distant west from the southwest corner of Armory Avenue and First Street in the City of Champaign, said point being marked with an iron pipe and being also 100.0 feet distant north from the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Mae Roland by the University of Illinois, as recorded in Deed Book 199, Page 395, of the records of said County; thence in a northerly direction along a line parallel to the west property line of said First Street, a distance of 100,0 feet to a corner, said corner being marked with an iron pipe; thence in a westerly direction along a line parallel to the south property line of said Armory Avenue, a distance of 60.0 feet to a corner, said corner being marked with an iron pipe; thence in a southerly direction along a line parallel to the west property line of said First Street, a distance of 100.0 feet to a corner, said corner being marked with an iron pipe; thence in an easterly direction along a line parallel to the south property line of said Armory Avenue, a distance of 60.0 feet to the place of beginning.

On motion of Mr. Swain, the sale of these properties was authorized and the resolutions were adopted by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Harewood, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain, Mrs. Watkins, Mr. Wilkins, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Stratton. SECRETARY'S REPORTS The Secretary presented for record the following lists: ( i ) appointments made by the President; (2) graduate fellows; (3) resignations and declinations; (4) leaves of absence; (5) retirements.

BORNARTH, ROBERT L., Assistant in the Institute of Aviation, February i-June 15. i960, $475 a month (12-23-59). BRACHMAN, EDWIN F., Assistant in Ophthalmology (Medicine), six months from January 1, i960, without salary (12-23-59).
