94 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [September 30 A. To said The University of Illinois Foundation subject to its said mortgage to said The Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company; and, B. T o said The Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company as additional security for the payment of the indebtedness secured by said mortgage and upon the same terms and conditions as are expressed in said mortgage with respect to the property therein described as mortgaged and conveyed, a right-of-way over the property, facilities and appurtenances hereinabove identified and described as now furnishing a present means of access and ingress to and egress from the said building site; all for the benefit of said building site, and all persons now or hereafter having any interest therein, or having any lawful right to enter in or upon the said building site. The rights herein granted shall include the right to construct and use driveways between said building site and said paved way. When said mortgage indebtedness hereinabove described is paid in full, if the title to said building site shall thereafter become vested in The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, then in that event the interests hereby conveyed shall revert to said The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. In witness whereof, The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation, has caused these presents to be executed in its corporate name and on its behalf, b y its President, and its corporate seal to be affixed, attested by its Secretary, on this 30th day of September, A.D. 1938. CUNNINGHAM Secretary (Corporate Seal) On motion of Mr. Moschel, the resolution incorporated in the indenture above was adopted, and the President and the Secretary of the Board were authorized to execute the indenture, by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Cleary, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Mayer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue; no, none; absent, Mr. Adams, Mr. Horner, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Wieland. The President of the Board affixed his signature and seal to the above document, attested by the Secretary of the Board under the Seal of the University. SITE OF DORMITORY FOR MEN (6) The Director of the Physical Plant Department recommends that the new dormitory for men be erected on the east part of the present Military Drill Field across from the George Huff Gymnasium on the corner of Fourth Street and Gregory Drive. On motion of Mr. Moschel, this site was approved as recommended. APPROPRIATION FOR ILLINI U N I O N BUILDING STUDIES (7) A recommendation t h a t an assignment of $1,800 be made from the General Reserve Fund to the Physical Plant Department for the rendering of a perspective drawing, the preparation of building estimates, consulting services on food service equipment, and preparation of estimates of cost of furnishings for the Illini Union Building.
