MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 18, 1939 With Executive Committee Meetings of December 18, 1939, and January 5 and 16, 1940 The December meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 1939. When the Board convened, the following members were present: Mr. Jensen, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. C. S. Havens, Director of the Physical Plant Department, and Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary. The Board took a recess. 669
