MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS November 24, 1939 With Executive Committee Meeting of November 1, 1939 The November meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 1939. The following members were present: President Mayer, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Jensen, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President; Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, Director C. S. Havens, and Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of September 30 and October 20, 1939, and also, for record, the minutes of meetings of the Executive Committee on August 23 and 29 and October 9, 1939. On motion of Mr. Jensen the minutes were approved and received for record as printed on pages 553 to 648 above. 649
