MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 2 0 , 1 9 3 9 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University, in Urbana, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Friday, October 20, 1939. The following members were present: President Mayer, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, and, during part of the day, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, and Director C. S. Havens of the Physical Plant Department. 619
