No bids were received on items in Group I I I (bulletin boards, counters, cork and linoleum floors, and insect screens) which was probably due to the grouping of the items. T h e Physical Plant Department is preparing new specifications. T h e Director recommends rejection of bids received under Group V I as it was found the specifications practically restricted the bidding to one firm. T h e specifications are being rewritten and new bids will be secured on the equipment in this group.

On motion of Mrs. Plumb, contracts were awarded to the lowest bidders, the unit prices were accepted, as recommended above, and the bids in Group VI were rejected.
