A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in Chicago, at 2:15 p.m. (Chicago Daylight Saving Time) on the third day of August, 1939. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Oscar G. Mayer, and on roll call the following answered present: Mrs. Glenn E. Plumb, Mr. Louis C. Moschel, Mr. Oscar G. Mayer.
