MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS June 8, 1939 The June meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. (Chicago Daylight Saving Time) on Thursday, June 8, 1939. The following members were present: President Mayer, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Jensen, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, and the Secretary. 337
