SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS A N D NON-RECURRING EXPENDITURES (18) The Committee on Special Appropriations and Non-Recurring Expenditures has had under consideration a number of requests for special assignments of funds for various purposes. The following items represent a partial selection of those which the Committee has studied carefully and recommends should be approved during the current fiscal year: 1. Improvements in the Law Library $13 100 Little has been done in the Law Library since the building was occupied by the College of Law, and the facilities are very old and unsatisfactory. This project will include remodeling the law library reading rooms and the purchase of furniture to make them a better place for students and faculty in which to study. 2. Drying Sheds for the Department of Agronomy This is for an additional shed (estimated cost, $2,000) and for reconditioning the present sheds. 2 350
