On motion of Mr. Wieland, the above schedule of wage rates was adopted, by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Mayer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland; no, none; absent, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Horner, Dr. Meyer. At this point, Mr. Adams took his place with the Board.

FACULTY QUARTERS IN ILLINI U N I O N BUILDING (8) A communication from a special committee of the University Club concerning faculty quarters in the new Illini Union Building and calling attention to problems which this will create for the Club. A copy of this is hereby given to the Secretary of the Board for record. I recommend that this Committee be given a hearing by the Board.

On motion of Mr. Moschel, the request for a hearing of the committee representing the University Club was granted, and the hearing was set for the December meeting of the Board.

A M E N D M E N T OF APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL F U N D S FOR A MEN'S DORMITORY (9) A statement concerning the application for funds for a Men's Dormitory.
