MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 17, 1938 With Adjourned Session of October 2 4 , 1938 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the College of Medicine, in Chicago, at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 1938. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Mayer, Mr. Adams, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Karraker, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue. Mr. Cleary and Mr. Moschel arrived a little later. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, and the Secretary. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of September 24 and 30, 1938. On motion of Mr. Moschel, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 55 to 98 above. 99
