It is also recommended that Hanson Engineers, Inc., Springfield, be employed for the professional services required for the contract administration and periodic on-site observation during the construction phase of this project at a fee based upon the firm's composite hourly rate schedule. T h e fee will not exceed $12,500, plus reimbursable expenses authorized by the University for additional field inspections, materials testing, travel, photography, and other miscellaneous expenses, estimated to be $10,000. Funds are available in the Auxiliary Facilities System Repair and Replacement Reserve Account. A schedule of the bids received has been filed with the secretary of the board for record. O n motion of M r . Howard, these recommendations were approved by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Day, Dr. Donoghue, M r . Forsyth, M r . H a h n , M r . Howard, M r . Logan, M r . Employment of Architects/Engineers, Urbana (13) T h e president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the employment of architects/engineers for the following projects at the Urbana-Champaign campus. Project Firm Phase I Remodeling, New- Severns, Rishling & Assomark Civil Engineerciates, Inc., Champaign ing Laboratory Fee Firm's composite hourly rate schedule, not to exceed $40,000, through the completion of construction plus reimbursable expenses (estimated to be $1,500). Actual hourly rates of professional and technical personnel plus 1 7 5 % , not to exceed $47,000 through the receipt of bids, plus reimbursable expenses (estimated to be $3,000).

Illini Union Fire Safety Improvements

Funds for the Newmark Civil Engineering Laboratory are available in the FY 1984 State appropriated funds budget of the College of Engineering. Funds for the Illini Union are available in the Auxiliary Facilities System Repair and Replacement Reserve account. O n motion of M r .
