Honorary Degree, Chicago (5) T h e senate at the University Center has recommended that an honorary degree be conferred at a special convocation, as follows: Jon Vickers, tenor — the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts. T h e convocation is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 1983, as a part of a campus program in commemoration of the centenary of the death of Richard Wagner. The chancellor at Chicago concurs in the recommendation. I recommend approval.
