354 BOARD OF TRUSTEES duly 18 Howard, Mr. Logan, Mr. Madden, Mrs. Shepherd, Miss Smith; no, none; absent, Governor Thompson. (The student advisory vote was: Aye, Mr.'Becker, Mr. Lamm; no, none.) Employment of Architect/Engineer, Satellite Recreation Structure, Urbana (37) The president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the employment of Isaksen and Matzdorff, Urbana, for architectural and engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of a building of 15,000 to 20,000 gross square feet to house court facilities for basketball, volleyball, tennis, and general recreation activities at the Urbana-Champaign campus. 1 The services required through the receipt of bids will be on an hourly basis, not to exceed $55,000 through the receipt of bids, plus authorized reimbursements, which are estimated to be $5,000. Upon receipt of satisfactory bids, the Board of Trustees will be requested to approve contracts for construction, and the firm will be employed for the architectural and engineering services required during the construction phase. This project will be financed from the proceeds of the Series 1985 Auxiliary Facilities Revenue Bond issue. On motion of Mrs. Day, this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Day, Mr. Forsyth, Mrs. Gravenhorst, Mr. Howard, Mr. Logan, Mr. Madden, Mrs. Shepherd, Miss Smith; no, none; absent, Governor Thompson. (Mr. Hahn asked to be recorded as not voting.) (The student advisory vote was: Aye, Mr. Becker, Mr. Lamm; no, none.) Employment of Architect/Engineer, Baseball Stadium and Site Development, Urbana (38) The president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the employment of Heery-FABRAP, Architects, Engineers & Planners, Atlanta, Georgia, for architectural and engineering services for: (1) construction of a baseball stadium; and (2) development of the first phase of the site for the proposed Athletic Center at the Urbana-Champaign campus. The services required through the receipt of bids will be at a fixed fee of $84,500, plus authorized reimbursements, which are estimated to be $10,000. Upon receipt of satisfactory bids, the Board of Trustees will be requested to approve contracts for construction, and the firm will be employed to provide the architectural and engineering services required during the construction phase. This project will be financed from the proceeds of the Series 1985 Auxiliary Facilities Revenue Bond issue.
