Contracts, Central Campus Steam Improvements, Urbana (16) The president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the award of the following contracts for steam distribution system work at the Urbana campus. The award in each case is to the low base bidder. Division I — General Base Bid Schomburg & Schomburg Construction, Inc., Danville $ 95 714 Division II— Heating Nogle & Black Mechanical, Inc., Champaign 53 795 Total $149 509 The project is to improve steam and condensate circulation in the central campus area. The work consists of installing low-pressure steam and condensate piping to connect two steam tunnel segments of the campus steam distribution network. The project also includes minor improvements to the service drive to the Foellinger Auditorium. Funds are available in the Fiscal Year 1988 institutional funds budget of the Operation and Maintenance Division. A schedule of the bids received has been filed with the secretary of the board for record. O n motion of M r . Contracts, Astronomy Building Remodeling — Phase III, Urbana (17) The president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of the following contracts for Phase III remodeling of the Astronomy Building, Urbana, for the installation of a supercomputer for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
