O n motion of Mr. Howard, the preceding items were approved by the following vote: Aye, Dr. Donoghue, Mr. Forsyth, Mr. H a h n , Mr. Howard, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Velasquez; no, none; absent, Mr. Neal, Mr. Stone, Governor Thompson. ( T h e student advisory vote was: Aye, Mr. Grady, Miss Wyncott; no, none; absent, Mr. Sobotka.) EXECUTIVE SESSION ADJOURNED FOR COMMITTEE MEETINGS Mr. Forsyth announced that the executive session would be adjourned for meetings of the Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Committee, Buildings and Grounds Committee, and General Policy Committee. T h e Board of Trustees regular meeting reconvened at 12:15 p.m. Mr. Stone was present at this time. MINUTES APPROVED T h e secretary presented for approval the press proof of the minutes of the Board of Trustees meeting of December 12, 1979, copies of which had previously been sent to the board. O n motion of Mr. Howard, these minutes were approved as printed on pages 477 to 496 inclusive. TENTATIVE BOARD CALENDAR, FISCAL YEAR 1981 A schedule for board meetings September 1980—July 1981 was presented for review and comment. T h e calendar was approved, subject to a final review for its compatibility with the academic calendar. REGULAR MEETING RECESSED FOR LUNCHEON President Forsyth announced that the regular meeting would be recessed for luncheon. T h e regular board meeting reconvened at 1:30 p.m. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY President Ikenberry recognized and introduced observers from the campus senates and from the University Senates Conference. 1 President's Reports President Ikenberry presented a report on selected topics of current interest, copies of which were distributed at the meeting, and a copy was filed with the secretary of the board.
