The East Ten feet (10') of the West Fifty feet (50') of the following described property: Thirty-nine and two-thirds (39%) acres off of the South side of Lot Two (2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW Vt) of Section Six ( 6 ) , Township Fifteen North ( T 15 N) Range Seven East (R 7 E) of the Third Principal Meridian; and Also, commencing Forty-eight and 72/100 (48.72) poles North of the Southwest Corner of Section Six ( 6 ) , Township Fifteen North ( T 15 N ) , Range Seven East (R 7 E) of the Third Principal Meridian, thence East 288 poles parallel with Section line to the West line of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section Six (6), thence North with said line 48 poles and 25 links to place of beginning, containing Eighty-seven and 19/100 (87.19) acres, more or less; and all situated in the County of Douglas and State of Illinois. Be It Further Resolved that said Comptroller and Secretary be, and they hereby are, authorized to execute, acknowledge, and deliver to Grantee a grant of a temporary easement over the following described property to be utilized during the construction period and which temporary easement shall terminate upon the completion of the construction and installation of the water main under the property hereinabove described, viz: A strip of land fifteen feet (15') in width in an easterly and westerly direction lying immediately east of, adjacent to, and parallel with the ten foot (10') permanent easement area described above.

Funds are available from state appropriations to the University for fiscal year 1979.

The student advisory vote was: Aye, Miss Kooper, Mr. Sobotka, Mr. Watson; no, none. On motion of Mr. Livingston, this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Forsyth, Mr. Hahn, Mr. Howard, Mr. Lenz, Mr. Livingston, Mr. Neal, Mrs. Rader, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Velasquez; no, none; absent, Governor Thompson.
