Contracts for Remodeling, and Rejection of Bid, Ophthalmology Department, Eye and Ear Infirmary, Medical Center (37) The president of the University, with the concurrence of appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of the following contracts for remodeling Room B-29 in the University of Illinois Hospital Eye and Ear Infirmary Building. The award in each case is to the low base bidder. T h e work will provide a suite of offices for the Ophthalmology Department, including new plumbing and lighting, and will make modifications in the heating and air conditioning systems. Therefore, the Physical Plant Department recommended that the bid be rejected. T h a t part of the project will be accomplished with University tradesmen. Pursuant to the provisions of Article I I , Section 4(k) ( 3 ) , of the General Rules Concerning University Organization and Procedure, the bid was rejected and the president now reports its rejection.
