Sanford, Charles W., to give instruction in Education, in the Summer Session of 1938, beginning June 20, 1938, and ending August 13, 1938, involving additional service not contemplated in his appointment to teach during the two semesters of the regular academic year, at an additional compensation of six hundred thirty-three dollars thirty-three cents ($633.33) for the session. (April 9, 1938) Smith, Mrs. Mabel P., Director of Social Activities in the Laura B. Evans Hall, for the Summer Session of 1938, beginning July I, 1938, and continuing through August 31, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of sixty-five dollars ($65) a month, and maintenance, including living quarters, board, and personal laundry, while on duty. (April 5, 1938) Spaeth, J. Nelson, Professor of Forestry and Head of the Department, in the College of Agriculture, and Chief in Forestry, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, beginning June I, 1938, and continuing through August 31, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of five thousand five hundred dollars ($5,5oo) a year. (March 18, 1938) Sprague, Victor, Assistant in Zoology, on one-half time, beginning April I, 1938, and continuing through June 30, 1938, at a cash compensation of sixty dollars ($60) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (April 15, 1938) Staley, Seward C , to give instruction in Physical Education for Men, in the Summer Session of 1938, beginning June 20, 1938, and ending August 13, 1938, involving additional service not contemplated in his appointment to teach during the two semesters of the regular academic year, at an additional compensation of nine hundred dollars ($900) for the session. (April 9, 1938) Szurek, S. A., Associate in Psychiatry, in the College of Medicine, for one year beginning September I, 1937, without salary (this is in addition to his appointment as Psychiatrist on the Rockefeller Foundation G r a n t ) . (March 23, 1938) Thornberry, H. H., Assistant Chief in Plant Pathology, in the Department of Horticulture, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, beginning April 1, 1938, and continuing through August 31, 1939, at a cash compensation at the rate of two thousand eight hundred dollars ($2,800) a year. (March 17, 1938) Warner, Lyla Winifred, Clerk and Stenographer in the Department of English, beginning April I, 1938, and continuing" through August 31, 1938, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of eighty dollars ($80) a month. (March 31, 1938) Williams, Lewis W., to give instruction in Education, in the Summer Session of 1938, beginning June 20, 1938, and ending August 13, 1938, at a cash compensation of five hundred thirty-three dollars thirty-three cents ($533.33) for the session.
