ADJUSTMENTS IN T H E BUDGET FOR 19 3 7 - 1 9 3 8 (14) In approving the budget for 1937-1938 the Board authorized the President of the University to make such changes and adjustments as are needed. Under this authorization the following adjustments have been made during the period October I, 1937, to March 31, 1938, and are being reported for record with the recommendation that an assignment of $6,615.20 be made from the General Reserve'Fund to cover them: Permanent additions to current budget: Classics, salaries (increase in rate paid H. V. Canter, Professor) Dairy Husbandry, salaries (new position to be filled by E. E. Ormiston, Assistant) Agronomy, salaries (increase in rate paid E. E. DeTurk, Professor) Library, salaries (new position to be filled by Elizabeth Gyory, Library Clerk) Dairy Husbandry, salaries (new position to be filled by K. E. Harshbarger, Assistant) Bureau of Community Planning, salaries (new position to be filled by D . H . Morgan, Community Consultant).. Library, salaries (increase in rate paid Theresa Gillett, Cataloger) Smith-Hughes practice teaching (For services of cooperating teachers and transportation to schools outside of Champaign-Urbana) Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, salaries (new position to be filled by H.
