to delegate to C. A. Webber, and to H. A. Hazleton, authority to sign his name to warrants on the University Treasurer covering vouchers approved in accordance with regulations approved by the Board. The Secretary of the Board of Trustees is authorized to delegate to H. C. Oesterling, to Anna L. Neuber, and to Maude Archdeacon, authority to sign his name as Secretary of the Board of Trustees to vouchers against the State Auditor and to warrants on the University Treasurer, covering vouchers approved in accordance with regulations of the Board. Resolved, that The First National Bank of Chicago as a designated depositary of Frank M. Gordon, Treasurer of this corporation, be and it (including its correspondent banks) is hereby requested, authorized, and directed to honor checks, drafts, or other orders for the payment of money drawn in this corporation's name, including those drawn to the individual order of any person or persons whose name or names appear thereon as signer or signers thereof, when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile signatures of any two of the following: Oscar G. Mayer, President, and H. E. Cunningham, Secretary; and The First National Bank of Chicago (including its correspondent banks) shall be entitled to honor and to charge this corporation for all such checks, drafts, or other orders, regardless of by whom or by what means the facsimile signature or signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile signature or signatures resemble the facsimile specimens duly certified to or filed with The First National Bank of Chicago by the Secretary or other officer of this corporation. Resolved, further, that the Auditor of Public Accounts is hereby authorized and directed to honor vouchers bearing facsimile signatures of the President and the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois if such facsimile signatures resemble the facsimile specimens duly certified to or filed with the Auditor of Public Accounts by the Secretary.

BOND O F TREASURER A N D DEPOSIT O F COLLATERAL

On motion of Mr. Moschel, the following resolution was adopted:

Resolved: 1. That Section 4 of the action of the Board concerning the Treasurer on February 6, 1932 (Minutes, pages 512-13), be amended to rescind that part of the section requiring that the Treasurer secure collateral from the depositories selected by him; 2. That the Treasurer and the Comptroller be authorized and directed to permit the withdrawal of securities now held as collateral for the deposit in The First National Bank of Chicago; 3. That the Finance Committee be authorized and directed to increase or decrease the amount of bond of the Treasurer, so that the bond will at all times satisfactorily cover the amount for which he is accountable; 4. That the Comptroller be directed to advise the Finance Committee from time to time as to the amount of University funds on deposit and the amount of bond necessary to adequately cover such deposit.
