Bassett, Marjorie M., Clerk and Stenographer in the Department of Railway Engineering, in the College of Engineering and in the Engineering Experiment Station, on two-thirds time, for eight months beginning January 1, 1938, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (December 29, 1937)* Boyett, Mary Alice, Assistant in the Binding Department of the Library, for eight months beginning January I, 1938, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred ten dollars ($110) a month (this supersedes her previous appointment). (January IS- 1938) Bruckner, Walter Herbert, Research Associate in Metallurgical Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, beginning January 16, 1938, and continuing through August 31, 1939, at a cash compensation at the rate of three thousand two hundred dollars ($3,200) a year. (December 27, 1937) Buhrmester, Catherine C , Technician in the Department of Orthopaedics, in the College of Medicine, for eight months beginning January I, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred five dollars ($105) a month. (December 29, 1937) Butler, Mrs. Elsie Ross, District 4-H Club Adviser, in the Extension Service in Agriculture and Home Economics, for seven months beginning February 1, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175) a month (this supersedes her previous appointment). W., Assistant in Physics, in the College of Engineering, on threefourths time, for five months beginning February 1, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred five dollars ($105) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (January 6, 1938) Collier, G. Estelle, Stenographer in the Department of Horticulture, in the Extension Service in Agriculture and Home Economics, for eight months beginning January 1, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of eighty dollars ($80) a month. (December 29, 1937) Cowan, J. C, Special Research Fellow in Chemistry, beginning February 1, 1938, and continuing through January 31, 1939, at a cash compensation of two thousand dollars ($2,000). (December 22, 1937) Deem, Arden Garrell, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, for seven months beginning February 1, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) a month. (November 23, 1937) De Turk, Ernest E., Professor of Soil Fertility, in the Department of Agronomy, in the College of Agriculture, and Chief in Soil Fertility and Soil Analysis, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, on indefinite tenure, beginning January 1, 1938, at a cash compensation at the rate of four thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($4,250) a year (this supersedes his previous appointment). (January 4, 1938) Englund, Ernest, Mechanician in the Department of Physics, in the College of Engineering, for seven months beginning February I, 1938, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one thousand nine hundred dollars ($1,900) a year.
