!937] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 589 University shall be made by the donors on request; when the donors designate a painting, or a group of paintings, for tender and, if acceptable, for delivery to the University, they will indicate in such designation the fair and reasonable value of each painting included, and such tender will otherwise be made subject to the conditions of the gift as herein interpreted; if, for any reason, the University is not prepared to accept immediate delivery upon acceptance, as above stated, the paintings shall be insured for their full value as the property of the University until delivery is made; and the University agrees to keep the paintings in first-class condition through periodical examination and treatment by competent and skilled persons approved by the Director of The Art Institute of Chicago; and Whereas, it is understood that this proposal as above interpreted is binding on the donors and their heirs, administrators, and assigns; Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois accepts the proposal of the Honorable Merle J. Trees and Emily N. Trees above described, upon the terms and conditions herein stated, subject to concurrence of donors.1 The Executive Committee adjourned. H. E. CUNNINGHAM Clerk O. M.
