MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 16,1937 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:00 a.m. (Chicago Daylight Saving Time) on Friday, July 16, 1937. The following members were present: President Karraker, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Mayer, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb. President Willard was present; also Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, Director C. S. Havens, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President. SECRETARY, PRO TEMPORE On motion of Mr. Adams, Mr. J a n a t a was elected Secretary Pro Tempore, to serve in the absence of Mr. H. E. Cunningham. M I N U T E S APPROVED The Secretary Pro Tempore presented the minutes of the meeting of June 9, 1937. On motion of Mr. Mayer, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 272 to 298 above. 299
