Snyder Company, a "base bid" of $964,860, for the general contract, was accepted, contingent on the securing of an increase in the loan from Federal funds not to exceed $250,000, based on detailed estimates of the actual amount necessary, to be submitted by the Physical Plant D e p a r t m e n t ; and the President of the University was authorized to make application for the additional funds necessary. At this point, M r . Barrett withdrew, and President Williams, asking D r . Meyer to take the chair, also withdrew.
