BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Woodrow, H. W., to give instruction in Chemistry in the Summer Session of 1930, on one-half time, beginning June 16 and ending August 9, 1930, at a cash compensation of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) for the session. E X E C U T I V E C O M M I T T E E M E E T I N G , A P R I L 10, 1930 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of

the University of Illinois was held at the University, in Urbana, at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 1930. M r . George A. Barr, Chairman, M r . Armstrong, and Mrs. Evans were present; also President Kinley. APPROPRIATION FOR B A C T E R I O L O G Y O n recommendation of President Kinley, and on motion of Mrs. Evans, the Executive Committee appropriated $2300 from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the expense and equipment account of the Department of Bacteriology. The vote was unanimous, on roll call. C O M M I T T E E O N AGRICULTURE Mr. Barr announced his action appointing M r . Simpson to be chairm a n of the standing committee on Agriculture, designating Mrs. Grigsby to act as chairman until M r . Simpson's return from abroad, and designating Mrs. Evans to be the third member of this committee for the rest of the year. The Executive Committee adjourned.
