MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F T R U S T E E S OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 4, 1929 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois w a s held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, D e c e m b e r 4, 1929, pursuant to the following call which w a s sent out b y the Secretary on N o v e m b e r 29, 1929: On the call of the President, Mr. James W . Armstrong, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois will be held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 1919, to consider certain matters offinanceand appointments, and such other matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may present. T h e following m e m b e r s were present: President Armstrong, M r . Barr, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r . Fisher, M r s . Grigsby, D r . Noble, M r . Trees.
