PLACE OF DECEMBER MEETING It was voted, on motion of Dr. Noble, that the December meeting be held in Chicago at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 1929. APPOINTMENTS MADE BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Secretary presented for record a l s of appointments made by it the President of the University.

Aaronson, Abe L., Instructor in Physiological Chemistry, in the Department of Physiology and Physiological Chemistry, in the College of Medicine, on one-fifth time, for ten months beginning November 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (October 30, 1929)1 Andersen, A. L., Animal Keeper in the Department of Surgery, in the College of Medicine, on one-half time, beginning October 9, 1929, and continuing until September 1, 1930, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of fifty-seven dollars and fifty cents ($57.50) a month, this superseding his previous appointment. (November 6, 1929) Archdeacon, Maude, Stenographer in the Office of the University Press, beginning October 7, 1929, and continuing until August 31, 1930, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars (J 100) a month. (October 9, 1929) Batko, John B., Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, on one-fourth time, for eight months beginning October 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25) a month.
