W e hereby certify, that so far as w e have been able to ascertain by an extended detail examination, All Income which the University should have received during the quarter ending September 30, 1929, has been received and duly accounted for. All Disbursements have been made for University purposes and have been properly authorized, and the expenditures have been correctly recorded in the books of account. The Cash and Securities as shown by the books at September 30, 1929, are correct in amount and have been verified by actual inspection, count or direct confirmation from the depositories. The Report of the Comptroller to the Board of Trustees for the quarter ending September 30, 1929, a copy of which is attached hereto, is in accordance with the books and, in our opinion, is correct. The Financial Report of the Comptroller to the Governor of the State of Illinois for the quarter ending September 30, 1929, and the Final Report of September 30, 1929, covering the appropriations for the biennial period 1927 to 1929, are in accordance with the books and, in our opinion, are correct. MEETING OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. OCTOBER 26, 1 929 The Secretary presented for record the minutes of a meeting of the Executive Committee.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University, in Urbana, at 9 o'clock a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 1929. M r . James W . Armstrong, Chairman, M r . Merle J. Trees and Mrs. Helen M . Grigsby, members of the committee, and President David Kinley were present. T h e Executive Committee considered the following matters presented by the President of the University.
