MEETING OF T H E B O A R D OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 10, 1 9 2 9 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 1929. W h e n the Board convened, the following members were present: President Armstrong, Mr. Barr, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Fisher, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Simpson, Mr. Trees. President Kinley was present; also, during part of the day, Professor J. M . White, Supervising Architect, and Mr. H. M . Edwards, Acting Comptroller. APPROVAL OF MINUTES DEFERRED O n motion of Mrs. Busey, the approval of the minutes of the meeting of September 18, 1929, was deferred until the minutes are printed. 397
