Be i enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Ast sembly: Section i. That the sum offiftythousand dollars ($50,000) per annum, or so much thereof as shall accrue to the State of Illinois under the provisions of an Act of Congress entitled, "An Act to apply a portion of the proceeds of the public lands to the more complete endowment and support of the colleges for the benefit of agriculture and the mechanic arts, established under the provisions of an Act of Congress, approved July 2, 1862," approved August 30, 1890, and an Act of Congress entitled, "An Act making appropriations for the Department of Agriculture for thefiscalyear ending June 30, 1908," approved March 4, 1907, during the two years beginning July first, 1929, is hereby appropriated to the University of Illinois. Whenever any portion of said sum shall be received by the State Treasurer from the United States, i shall immediately be due and payable into the treasury of the t University of Illinois. Sec. 2. Upon the order of the President of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, countersigned by its secretary and with the corporate seal of said University attached thereto, the Auditor of Public Accounts is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrants on the State Treasurer for the sums appropriated in Section 1 of this Act. Speaker of the House of Representatives (HOUSE BILL NO. 287) An Act making an appropriation for the University of Illinois Experimental Station in Cook County. W H E R E A S , the University of Illinois is maintaining and developing an experimental station on twenty acres of land in Cook County; and W H E R E A S , the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is necessary to carry out proposed plans for constructing buildings and for maintaining the said experimental station; therefore Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly: Section i. The sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated to the University of Illinois for the biennium ending July 1, 1931, for the purpose of constructing buildings and maintaining the experimental station in Cook County. Section 2. This appropriation is subject to the provisions of "An Act in relation to Statefinance,"approved June 10, 1919, as amended. Approved, June 10, 1929. Louis L. Emmerson Governor
