L E A V E O F A B S E N C E F O R M I S S M E T T A M . L O O M IS (16) On recommendation of Dean Davis, concurred in by Director P. L. Windsor, I recommend that Miss Metta M . Loomis, Librarian in the College of Medicine, be given leave of absence for one month on full pay in order that she may spend the period from July IJ to September 15 in travel abroad, during which time she will promote the interests of the Medical College Library in Europe. O n motion of M r . Fisher, this leave w a s granted. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR MISS JOS1E B. HOUCHENS (17) On recommendation of Director P. L. Windsor, I recommend that Miss Josie B. Houchens, Binding Librarian, be given leave of absence for one month without pay, to enable her to teach in the Columbia University Library School during the summer. O n motion of M r . Barr, this leave w a s granted. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR MISS ANNA C. GLOVER (18) On recommendation of Dean Mumford, I recommend that Miss Anna C. Glover, Secretary of the Agricultural Experiment Station, and Manager of Publications, be given leave of absence for one and one-half months, dating from June 12, on full pay, in order that she may travel abroad. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this leave w a s granted in recognition of loyal service without a break through m a n y years. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR MISS LILLIAN HART (19) On recommendation of Dean Chadsey, I recommend that Miss Lillian Hart, Secretary of the College of Education, be given leave of absence for two months, without pay, since she wishes to spend the summer in travel abroad. O n motion of M r . Simpson, this leave w a s granted. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR PROFESSOR E. L. BOGART (20) On request of Professor E. L. Bogart, Head of the Department of Economics, endorsed by Dean Thompson, I recommend that he be given a leave of absence for the year 1929-30 without pay, in order to accept a one-year appointment on the staff of Claremont College, to assist that institution in its organization.
