CHANGES IN CURRICULUM IN FLORICULTURE (2) I have approved the action of the Council of Administration (acting for the University Senate) on the recommendations from the Faculty of the College of Agriculture for the following changes in the curriculum in floriculture: (1) That in the third year students be permitted to choose between Horticulture 7 (Spraying), three hours, and Entomology 20 (Insect Control), four hours. (2) That Business Organization and Operation 2 (Marketing Organization and Operation), three hours, be substituted in the fourth year of the curriculum for Business Organization and Operation 1 (Industrial Organization and Management), three hours. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this action w a s approved. APPROPRIATION FOR LIBRARY (3) On request of Director P. L. Windsor I recommend that an appropriation of $5,000 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the Library for "Library Expense." O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this appropriation w a s m a d e , b y the following vote: A y e , M r . Armstrong, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r . Fisher, M r s . Grigsby, D r . Noble, M r . Simpson, M r . APPROPRIATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF HORTICULTURE (4) I recommend that the sum of $1,500 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the Department of Horticulture for operating the new greenhouses
