APPOINTMENTS M A D E BY PRESIDENT KINUEY T h e Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments m a d e b y the President of the University: Beard, Hallard, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, in the College of Medicine, on one-half time, for eight months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred thirty-three dollars thirty-three cents (£133-33) a month. (January 3, 1929)1 Dale, Maurice Louis, Instructor in Pediatrics, in the College of Medicine, for six months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of two hundred dollars ($200) a month. (January 5, 1929) Daniels, Marcell Deets, Special Research Graduate Assistant in Civil Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, in the College of Engineering, for two years beginning February 1, 1929, not including July and August, at a cash compensation at the rate of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (January 3, 1929) DeVol, Beatrice Eleanor, Research Assistant in the Bureau of Business Research, in the College of Commerce, beginning December 1, 1928, and continuing until August 15, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month. (December 14, 1928) DuBois, Franklin Smith, Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, on one-fourth time, for six months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of thirty-seven dollarsfiftycents ($37.50) a month. (December 14, 1928) Kaplan, Bertha, Instructor in Medicine, in the College of Medicine, for eight months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred eighty-three dollars thirty-three cents ($183.33) a month. (January 5, 1929) Small, Lucile, Clerk and Stenographer in the Department of Administration, in the College of Engineering, for eight months beginning January 1, 1929, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month. (December 31, 1928) Toriello, Lawrence Anthony, Photographer in the department of Medical and Dental Illustration, in the College of Medicine, for eight months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred eighty-three dollars thirtythree cents ($183.33) a month.
