1929] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 125 APPOINTMENTS M A D E BY PRESIDENT KINUEY T h e Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments m a d e b y the President of the University: Beard, Hallard, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, in the College of Medicine, on one-half time, for eight months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred thirty-three dollars thirty-three cents (£133-33) a month. (January 3, 1929)1 Dale, Maurice Louis, Instructor in Pediatrics, in the College of Medicine, for six months beginning January 1, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of two hundred dollars ($200) a month. (January 5, 1929) Daniels, Marcell Deets, Special Research Graduate Assistant in Civil Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, in the College of Engineering, for two years beginning February 1, 1929, not including July and August, at a cash compensation at the rate of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (January 3, 1929) DeVol, Beatrice Eleanor, Research Assistant in the Bureau of Business Research, in the College of Commerce, beginning December 1, 1928, and continuing until August 15, 1929, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month.
