INSURANCE SETTLEMENT ON KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA HOUSE (6) The Comptroller reports that he has received from the insurance companies a settlement of thefireloss on the Kappa Kappa G a m m a House in the amount of $8,166.59, which has been credited to the Account for Repairs and Remodeling, in accordance with the action of the Executive Committee on June 12. This report w a s received for record. CONTRACT FOR DAVENPORT AND KAPPA KAPPA G A M M A HOUSES (7) Pursuant to the action of the Board of Trustees on June 12, providing for the repair of the Kappa Kappa G a m m a House and the building of a connection with the Davenport House, and on recommendation of the Supervising Architect, I authorized the execution of a contract with King & Petry for this work for the sum of $16,120. O n motion of Dr. Noble, the action of the President of the University w a s approved. ADDITIONS TO GARAGES (8) To carry out the plan authorized by the Board at the meeting on March 13 (Minutes, pages 565 ff.) for the central management and care of University automobiles, the Supervising Architect secured the following bids on additions to our garages:
