REAPPROPRIATION OF UNEXPENDED BALANCES

(13) On request of the Comptroller, I recommend that the following balances from the 1925-26 budget be reappropriated as of July 1, to cover work not yet completed: Printing of Regulations $ 996.05 Crockerland Expedition Report 1,500.00 Inspection of Students' Living Conditions 426.34 Educational Inquiry 4,145.91 Exhibit at Dental Congress 264.55 Graduate School Research (including Cahokia Mounds) (as indicated by Dean Daniels) 2,490.98 Summer Course for Physicians, College of Medicine 270.74 Summer Session, 1926 4,310.35 Walk from New Library to Fourth Street 29.75 South Farm Drainage 9,929.80 Sterilization Equipment 1,348.12 Moving Library 9,786.34 Remodeling Old Commerce Building 7,726.00 Remodeling Old Library 870.93 Remodeling Physics Building 3,596.35 Total £63,569.78 Reconstruction of Old Creamery Laboratory 203.40 On motion of Mr. Wham, these balances were reappropriated, by Auditorium Ventilation 14,718.75 the following vote: Aye, M Experiment Station)r s . PHYSICAL PLANT SPECIAL APPROPRIATION (14) In accordance with the request of the Supervising Architect, I recommend an appropriation of £22,500 from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to be used as follows, as nearly as may be. 1. For changes in the Law Building on removal of College of Law and moving the Department of Entomology into i t $ 6,000 2. Grading of the Parade Ground 5,000 3. Isolation barn at the Dairy Plant 4,000 4. Connections to new Pharmacy Building from South Pharmacy and Bakers' Buildings in Chicago 4,000 5. Enclosing masonry wall on north side of Vivarium lot between Sixth and Wright Streets, 396 feet more or less 2,000 Total $ 22,500 6. Rewiring Pharmacy Building 1,500 O n motion of M r .
