Armstronc, Helen M. Grigsby. MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. BIDS ON COOK COUNTY EXPERIMENT STATION HOUSE (1) The Supervising Architect has received revised bids from two of the contractors who submitted proposals on the Cook County Experiment Station cottage, and recommends that the contract be awarded to Mr. B. E. Morris, the low bidder. The bids are as follows: B. E. Morris $ 9,900 E. E. Hart 10,282 I concur in this recommendation. O n motion of M r . Barr, this contract w a s awarded to the low bidder as r e c o m m e n d e d .

CONTRACT FOR HARDWARE FOR ARMORY ADDITION

(2) The Supervising Architect has received the following bids on the hardware for the Armory Addition: Holder Hardware Company (Bloomington) #3,460.00 Conron Hardware Company (Danville) 3,5*9-53 and recommends that the contract be awarded to the Holder Hardware Company, Bloomington, Illinois, on the basis of their low bid of $3,460. O n motion of M r . Barr, this contract w a s awarded to the low bidder, as recommended. RAZING OF FLOURNOY STREET PROPERTY (3) The Supervising Architect recommends that the building at 1745 Flournoy Street be razed. This is a two-story frame structure, very much run down, and cannot be made rentable without the expenditure of a considerable amount of money. I concur in his recommendation. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this recommendation w a s concurred in.
