RETIRING A L L O W A N C E S (22) A statement concerning persons on the staff who have reached the age of retirement, but have not served the University the minimum offifteenyears required in the provisions for retiring allowances adopted by the Board; with a request for instructions in case the Board wishes to deviate from the time requirement. N o action w a s taken in this matter. DEATH OF DEAN EYCLESHYMER (23) Announcement of the death o Dr. Albert Chauncey Eycleshymer, formerly f Dean of the College of Medicine, on December 29, 1925. O n motion of M r s . Busey, the President of the University w a s requested to convey to M r s . Eycleshymer a n expression of the s y m pathy of the Board. INVESTMENT O F TRUST F U N D S The Finance Committee reported, recommending the investment of $6500 trust funds (see page 504) as follows: $2000 Northern States Power Company 5 ^ % bonds, series B," maturing in 1950. $2000 Commonwealth Edison Company 5 ^ bonds, maturing in 1946. $2500 American Telegraph and Telephone Company 5 % bonds, maturing in 1946. O n motion of Mrs. Evans, this recommendation was adopted, and the proper officers of the Board were instructed to make the investment.
