ALLOWANCE OF PRESIDENT JAMES

(23) The Comptroller asks directions as to the "disposition of the monthly allowance of President James for the month of June and for any subsequent time that i is to be paid." I recommend that the June installment be paid and that payt ments cease with that. O n motion of M r . Barr, this recommendation w a s approved. SALARY OF MR. C. E. JANVRIN (24) A recommendation that the portion of the salary of Mr. C. E. Janvrin, Librarian of the Natural History library, assumed by the University be $1,400 instead of $1,200, effective September 1, 1925. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this recommendation was concurred in.

HEAD OF DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

(25) Dean D. J. Davis of the College of Medicine recommends that Dr. Charles S. Bacon be appointed temporarily as head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on one-half time, with salary at the rate of $5,000 a year, until Dr. Falls can join us, or some one else i hefinallydecides not to come. f I concur in this recommendation. O n motion of M r s . Ickes, this recommendation was adopted.

APPOINTMENT OF DR. ROBERT W. KEETON

(26) Dean Davis, on the recommendation of Dr. Williamson, asks the appointment of Dr. Robert W . Keeton as Associate Professor of Medicine on half time at a salary of $3,500 per year as of October I, 1925—tenure indefinite. I concur in the recommendation. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this appointment was made.

APPOINTMENT OF C. W. REAGAN IN PRINT SHOP

(27) Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Director of the University Press, recommends that Mr. C. W . Reagan be appointed Superintendent of the Print Shop at a yearly salary of $3,600, beginning September 1, 1925, and continuing until September 1, 1926. I recommend approval. O n motion of M r . Barr, this appointment w a s made. SALARY OF DEAN CANTER (28) Dean Babcock recommends some addition to the salary of Dean Canter, either as Professor or Assistant Dean. I recommend that $250 be added to Dr. Canter's salary as Professor, making his total salary $5,000. O n motion of M r . Noble, this recommendation w a s adopted.

SALARY OF DEAN F. B. MOOREHEAD

(29) I recommend that the salary of Dr. F. B. Moorehead, Dean and Professor in the College of Dentistry, be made $5,000 a year as of September 1, 1925, on a half time basis instead of $4,200 as i i now. t s O n motion of M r s . Evans, this recommendation w a s approved.
