REQUEST FROM ATTORNEYS FOR THE ILLINOIS OSTEOPATHIC ASSOCIATION (17) A request from Mr. Louis G. Caldwell of thefirmof McCormick, Kirkland, Patterson, and Fleming, Attorneys, asking permission to appear before the Board of Trustees in behalf of the Illinois Osteopathic Association. This request v/as granted and M r . Caldwell appeared and m a d e a statement concerning the matter. N o action w a s taken. APPOINTMENT OF DR. F. H. FALLS {18) A recommendation by Dean D. J Davis that Dr. F. H. F l s be ap. al pointed Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, on three-fourths time, at a salary of #7,500 a year, beginning October 1, 1925, or as soon thereafter as he may report for duty, and continuing until further notice. I concur in this recommendation. D e a n D . J. Davis, w h o w a s present, m a d e statements concerning this appointment and the other medical appointments following. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this recommendation w a s approved. CLINICAL FACULTY OF THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE (19) I recommend the approval of the following nominations submitted by the Dean of the College of Medicine for appointments to the clinical professorships and other clinical positions on the faculty of the College of Medicine; furthermore, that in general, the clinical staff of the College of Medicine (except the Department of Surgery) be reappointed on the same basis as last year, the President of the University being authorized to make the usual necessary modifications of the list.
