APPOINTMENTS MADE BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Secretary presented for record the following l s of appointments it made by the President of the University. Alexander, John, Assistant in Romance Languages on three-fourths time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1924, at a salary of one hundred five dollars ($105) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (March 4, 19I4)1 Aries, Harriet S., Nurse in the departments of Ophthalmology and Medicine in the College of Medicine, for seven months, beginning February 1, 1924, at a salary of one hundred sixteen an_d two-thirds dollars (?116.66) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (February 13, 1924) Ballard, R. C , Student Assistant in Military, for four months, beginning March 1, 1924, at a salary often dollars (Jio) a month. (March 5, 1924) Becker, H. C , Assistant in Hygiene, in the College of Medicine, for four months, beginning February 4, 1924, at a salary offiftydollars ($50) a month. (February 12, Blomgren, C.
