UNIVERSITY AUTOMOBILE O n motion of M r . Herbert, it was voted that the University automobile be designated the President's car and assigned exclusively for the use of the President of the University and his family. NAMING OF AGRICULTURE BUILDING O n motion of M r . Trees, the matter of naming the Agriculture building w a s deferred to the next meeting. MUTUAL BENEFIT ASSOCIATION O n motion of M r . Trees, the matter of the Mutual Benefit Association w a s deferred to the next meeting and the Secretary w a s instructed to obtain the opinion of the Legal Counsel concerning the powers of the Board in the matter. APPOINTMENTS TO FILL VACANCIES The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments m a d e by President Kinley: Bernheimer, L. B., Assistant in Laryngology, Rhinology, and Otology, in the College of Medicine, from June 15 to September 1, 1923, without salary. (June 27, 1923)' Brickett, E. M., Research Graduate Assistant in Theoretical and Applied Machanics, in the Engineering Experiment Station, for two years of ten months each, beginning September 1, 1923, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (June 11, 1923) Dillenback, L. C , Architectural Designer in the office of the Supervising Architect, for two months, beginning June 15, 1923, at a salary of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) a month. (June 29, 1923) Erickson, C. L., Special Research Assistant in Engineering Materials, in the Engineering Experiment Station, beginning when he reports for duty and continuing until further notice, at a salary of one hundred sixty-six and two-third dollars (£166.66) a month.
