This matter was discussed, and the Board took a recess from 12:15 to 3:45 p. m. During this time, the Board visited the South Campus and inspected the proposed sites. AFTERNOON SESSION, MAY 18, 1923 W h e n the Board convened after the recess, the following members were present: President Noble, Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Trees. President Kinley was present. LIBRARY PLANS The plans and a sketch of the design of the new Library building were presented and explained by Mr. Piatt. O n motion of Mrs. Blake, the Board received Mr. Piatt's report of progress, accepted the general plan and design of the building, and instructed the architect to proceed with the development of the plans. M A T T E R S P R E S E N T E D BY PRESIDENT KINLEY T h e Board resumed its discussion of matters presented b y the President of the University. LOCATION O F A G R I C U L T U R A L BUILDINGS (20—continued) A recommendation that the new Agricultural buildings be located as recommended by Dean Mumford (page 191) with the exception of the Poultry plant, and that the matter of the location of the Poultry plant be deferred until a later meeting. O n motion of M r s . Evans, these recommendations were concurred in. At this point, at 5:30 p. m., a recess was taken until 7:30 p. m . EVENING SESSION, MAY 18, 1923 W h e n the Board convened for the evening session on M a y 18, 1923, the following members were present: President Noble, Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Trees.
